Support Groups in North America

This page contains links to the pages listing support groups in North America. It should be presumed that these providers are in their respective country’s native language, unless otherwise indicated.

For support groups related to SOFFAs or loved ones of Transgender people, see here.

Trans specialists; help for crossdressers as well as transsexuals.
NOT RECOMMENDED. Has a highly archaic and rigid view of what transsexuals should be, and will deny care to those who don’t fit their mould. Advocates things like reparative therapy to ‘cure’ Trans people. (Please note: This does not work, even if you – and they – would like it to. Transgender feelings cannot be made to properly go away; they can only be squelched and repressed, which causes tremendous psychological and emotional stress and will eventually stop working. The longer the repression lasts, the more painful and difficult it is when it stops working.)
