Support group for Civil Servants who are intersex, have permanently changed their perceived gender, or have a need to permanently change their perceived gender. The group also accepts non-intersex, non-transsexual (cisgender) members as ‘friend’ (associate) members. This group is inter-departmental: it covers civil servants from all departments, agencies and non-departmental public bodies of the Civil Service.

The NTPA exists primarily to provide support to serving and retired Police Officers, Police Staff and Special Constables with any gender identity issue including, but not exclusively, Trans Men, Trans Women, people who identity as ‘Transgender’, Androgyne or Intersex. Also the NTPA will give support to people who identify as Cross Dressers. The NTPA further aims to provide support to all serving and retired police officers, police staff and special constables who are dealing with people with a gender identity issue whether that person is a colleague, family member or a member of the public involved in a police matter.

Sanctuary Coventry
Set up by Gender Matters in April 2009 providing a safe venue for local people from Coventry, Warwickshire and the surrounding areas. Part of a regional network of Sanctuaries across the West Midlands.
The group allows you to meet like minded people socially in a secure, confidential environment. To have your questions answered together with the offer of further support, if it is required.
We open between 6pm and 9pm the first Wednesday of every month. It is in a safe quiet, discreet part of central Coventry. It is easy to reach by bus or by train. We have good free car parking facilities for your use.
In order to ensure that the location is safe and secure, we do not publish full details of our location but please feel free to contact us for further Information. After the meeting you have an option of going to a LGBT friendly pub.

This is actually the location of the Glasgow Gender clinic. A peer facilitated support group meets in the sandyford, for clients of the Sandyford gender clinic. Meetings are on the first thursday of the month from 7 – 9 PM, and the third saturday of the month from noon – 2PM. Thursday meetings are much mre heavily attended than saturday meetings, so don’t be discouraged by the Saturdays. For practical reasons, due to location within the building, as well as the lack of attendance since Transmen Scotland started up in Glasgow, this group is now for TRANSWOMEN ONLY.
