Supports listings for Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Éire, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States so far. - Standards of Care (SOC) for people interested in medical transition, as put out by The World Professional Association for Transgender Health, Inc. (WPATH). Remember that they are guidelines, not rules or laws, which are intended to help health care professionals (mental and physical health) deal with us as individuals. If you see a mental or physical health care professional who really doesn’t know what to do with you regarding helping you transition, this is an excellent resource for them. It is also an excellent resource for you – you should know what the international guidelines are! Some health care professionals have a much more archaic and damaging way of ‘helping’ you with your transition; you don’t have to put up with that.
