  • American Beauties – An award-winning documentary on Asian Transgender immigrants to the US. We enter the secretive, often misunderstood world of immigrant male to female Transgender folks.
  • Minnesota (US) Trans Health – has a listing of many Trans friendly healthcare providers ranging from dentists to voice rehabilitation specialists.
  • Safe2Pee.org – A gender neutral bathroom directory. Supports listings for Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Éire, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States so far. Please contribute information! Accessible via text messaging – you can text safe2pee.org and find out where local safe public toilets are. Listings are also now available in a text version for each city, which can be downloaded to many MP3 players!
  • Standards of Care (SOC) for people interested in medical transition, as put out by The World Professional Association for Transgender Health, Inc. (WPATH). Remember that they are guidelines, not rules or laws, which are intended to help health care professionals (mental and physical health) deal with us as individuals. If you see a mental or physical health care professional who really doesn’t know what to do with you regarding helping you transition, this is an excellent resource for them. It is also an excellent resource for you – you should know what the international guidelines are! Some health care professionals have a much more archaic and damaging way of ‘helping’ you with your transition; you don’t have to put up with that.
