Redrawn European Equal Treatment Directive 2006

On 5 July 2006, the European Parliament produced a redrafted version of their Directive on equal treatment of men and women in employment, primarily to codify case law and make the law more transparent.

For the first time this has resulted in the inclusion of the Courts’ case law on gender reassignment, effectively indoctrinating protection for those who have undergone gender reassignment in European Law.
